Boys Panther Parent Soccer Club Officers meeting called to order at 7 pm.
Present: Pat Hund, President, Jay Kelley, Treasurer, Bonnie Berry, Al Fadenrecht, Zee Toner, John Petosa, Kelly Gilbert and Sally Ferrin.
Zee Toner reported on the Poster advertisement sales and profit.
The 2005 Financial Review and statement was reported and the 2006 proposed budget was presented including projected income and expenses. Pat Hund motioned to accept the budget as proposed, all approved.
Kelly Gilbert reported on the concession sign ups, stock of food and drinks and lock box donation.
John Petosa discussed blankets/seat cushions fund raiser. Sideline Soultions via the internet will donate 10% of their sales to our parent club for goods sold.
Scholarships: Motion was made by Bonnie Berry that the parent club will award scholarships to seniors regardless of their GPA and as long as the student is continuing in their education. This amendment was voted on and approved unanimously.
P.O. Box: Jay Kelley made a motion that the parent club secure a P.O. Box in Snohomish at the annual cost of $62.00 for all correspondence and business purposes. Jay Kelley and Sally Ferrin will hold the P.O. Box keys for the 2006–2007 seasons. This was voted on and approved by all.
Big Foot Parking Lot Fund raiser: Solutions discussed to sign up ample volunteers to cover the weekend task of this fund raiser. Weekend passes for $10 or $3 per day ??. Hire police officers to direct traffic and cross walk. Solutions for cars exiting. Eliminating the coaches’ parking lot, using for handicap only. Makes signs stating “costs”, “enter”, “exit”, etc. Appoint daily supervisors to manage volunteers, John Petosa overall manager.
Website Change: Fred Chittenden volunteered to update website and maintain.
John Petosa generously offered SHS boys soccer players ½ price game day breakfast or ½ price eve of game dinner at his restaurant “Petosa’s” located at 3121 Broadway Ave in Everett. Thank you John.
